A Feast and a Discussion
Why is Mary’s death so important that it’s annual memorial is preceded by a two-week fast, and the day of the feast (August 15th) is one of the greatest feasts of the Orthodox Church? Fr Maximos Konstas will discuss these questions and more, explaining who the Theotokos is, why she is central to Orthodox theology and devotional life, and what the significance of her death can mean for us today. Join us in this discussion as we break the fast in fellowship!
