How to Give Church Tours w/ Fr Luke Veronis

What is the best way to talk about the Orthodox Faith? How can we best connect with people who have no idea what the Orthodox Church is all about? All are welcome to this 5-week class on how to talk about the Orthodox Faith in the public sphere and give church tours. At the conclusion of the class, we will give church tours at Sts Constantine and Helen on June 17th! 

Schedule: 

May 18: Where is God? What is the “ethos” of a church tour, and what should be our ethos when interacting with another human being? 

May 25: What is Christianity? What is essential to being an Orthodox Christian?

June 1: What is Church? Why do I need it? Can I be spiritual and not religious?

June 8: What do we see when we enter a church? Why are Orthodox Churches structured the way they are? 

June 15: Putting the Church in context – what is the (brief) history of the Orthodox Church?
