About the Boston Orthodox Choir
In January of 2023, 12 young adults came together from 5 different parishes across the greater Boston Area, united in a love of the Orthodox Church and her wealth of music and hymns. The goal was simple—sing hymns from all the different chant traditions in an effort to explore and reveal the Church’s great beauty.
A still emerging ministry, the Boston Orthodox Choir wants to make beautiful music for the Orthodox Churches in Boston and for the city of Boston itself. It is our sincerest hope to become a part of Orthodox Boston’s fabric, help train singers, expose our communities to new and fantastic chant styles, and celebrate the great feast days of the Orthodox Church in services where all feel at home and invigorated.

Interested in hosting us at your church?
The Boston Orthodox Choir is at the service of Boston and her churches. Are you interested in the BOC coming and singing at your parish? We love singing, especially in church services! We are currently working on a system to sing at a parish with that parish’s choir, in an effort to truly be a part of the Orthodox Boston community.
